Argentina offers a huge variety of regions and climates.
The province of La Pampa is in the central region, between the Andes mountains to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. It covers an area of 143.440 km.2 and has a population of 300.000, which is less than 1% of Argentina´s total inhabitants. The province is a large plain covered mostly in forests of native caldenes, which is an ideal habitat for species such as red deer, wild boar, puma and a variety of small game such as hares and partridges.
